 Missoula,
Montana is about three hours south of Glacier National Park and
approximately four hours west of Yellowstone National Park, surrounded
by national forests and beautiful rivers nearby. Missoula is called the
garden city because of its’ mild winter.
Jeanette Rankin was raised in Missoula. She was our country’s first
congresswoman. She was elected to congress before women could vote
proving Montanans’ were smarter and ahead of the times.
Retail sales drive the local economy drawing shoppers from afar. The
University Of Montana is considered one of the best in the west and with
Montana’s climate it would be a great experience to be a student in
Missoula.
All the outdoor sports including fishing hunting hiking skiing or
whitewater rafting are within easy driving range. |
